Adalo
Add Adalo to your product for your customers, and give your AI agents governed access to it.
Adalo's Collections API is at api.adalo.com/v0/apps/{appId}/collections/{collectionId} with a bearer API key, and both identifiers come from the Adalo editor rather than from any listing endpoint, so onboarding has to capture them from the customer directly. Records are plain JSON objects whose properties are the collection's field names exactly as the app builder typed them, spaces and capitalisation included, which makes mapping fragile the moment a customer renames a field. Relationships are stored as arrays of related record ids, so following one is always a second call. The API is rate limited at roughly five requests per second and returns 429 above that, which forces batching and backoff on any bulk import. Because the API is scoped per app, a customer running several Adalo apps needs a key and app id for each one. fastn holds each customer's key, app and collection ids, applies the backoff and keeps field mappings current.
In your product
Embedded for your customers. Per-tenant auth, no per-customer code, maintained by fastn.
Let a customer connect their own Adalo app so records in their collections sync with your product
Push records into an Adalo collection when something happens in your system, so their no code app stays current
Read a collection on demand to show live app data inside your own dashboard without duplicating the database
Detect renamed or added fields at sync time and prompt the customer to remap rather than failing silently
For your AI agents
Governed, audited access for the agents you build, through the MCP server.
Ask an agent to find records in a collection matching a condition and summarise what it found
Have an agent create or update a record in a named collection, with each write audited per tenant and rate limited
Let an agent resolve a relationship field and report the related record rather than returning a bare id

How many bookings in the Adalo app are still marked pending, and who are they for?
Set up Adalo in 4 steps
- 01Enable the Adalo connector from your fastn dashboard.
- 02Have each customer authorise their own Adalo account, so calls run under their credentials rather than a shared key.
- 03Decide which records, datasets and fields your product needs, map those fields, then enable the actions and triggers you want.
- 04Call it from your product and expose it to your agents through the same governed connection.
Why teams use the Adalo integration
What you get by embedding it with fastn instead of building it yourself.
- Ship an Adalo integration without building it. Your customers connect their own Adalo account inside your product and work their records, datasets and fields there, with no per-customer code on your side.
- Handle the part that actually costs time: schemas differ per customer and change without notice, and volumes can be large. fastn owns the auth, token refresh, rate limits, pagination and breaking-change fixes, so an Adalo update is not your on-call problem.
- One integration serves your product and your agents. The same governed Adalo connection powers in-product features and gives AI agents scoped, audited access, so you read and write your customers' data where it already lives without wiring it twice.

Adalo integration FAQ
How do I add an Adalo integration to my product?
Enable the Adalo connector in your fastn dashboard, then let each customer authenticate their own Adalo account. fastn handles the OAuth flow, token storage and refresh per tenant, so there is no Adalo client code in your app and no per-customer branch in your codebase. Setup is 4 steps.
Do my customers each connect their own Adalo account?
Yes. Every connection is scoped to the individual customer, so each authorises their own Adalo account and only ever sees their own records, datasets and fields. That per-tenant isolation is the point of an embedded integration: you support the long tail of customer setups without maintaining an integration per customer.
Can AI agents use this Adalo integration?
Yes. The same connection is exposed to your agents through the fastn MCP gateway, with permissions scoped per tenant and every call audited. Ask an agent to find records in a collection matching a condition and summarise what it found
Who maintains the Adalo integration?
fastn does. When Adalo changes an endpoint, deprecates a field or alters its auth, the fix lands in the connector rather than in your backlog, and your customers' connections keep working.
Does the Adalo integration adapt when a customer's schema changes?
Schema and field mapping is configuration per customer, so a change on their side is a mapping update rather than a code change and a release on yours.
How are large Adalo reads handled?
Pagination and throttling are handled for you, and initial backfills are rate-limited so a large import does not exhaust a customer's API allowance.
What can I build with the Adalo integration?
A common starting point: let a customer connect their own Adalo app so records in their collections sync with your product. Teams also use it for the other use cases listed above, and expose it to agents for governed reads and writes.
How much does the Adalo integration cost?
It is included. Pricing is based on connected accounts, not on how many connectors you enable, so adding Adalo does not change your per-connector cost. You can start free with 3 connected accounts.
