Wavity

Add Wavity to your product for your customers, and give your AI agents governed access to it.

Wavity lets a business assemble its own applications without writing code, then bolts workflow and a service desk onto them, so the contents of any given account are whatever that business decided to build: an intake queue here, an approvals register there, a help desk somewhere else. An integration therefore begins with discovery instead of with documentation. Nothing about the shape is settled in advance, two companies solving the same problem will label their fields differently, and when somebody adds one later that ought to cost you a remap and nothing more. Everything here is written around the apps a tenant genuinely has, since there is no vendor object model to code against. Credentials, paging and rate limiting all sit with fastn, account by account.

In your product

Embedded for your customers. Per-tenant auth, no per-customer code, maintained by fastn.

Give every customer a way to connect the Wavity account they already run, so your product works against the apps living inside it.

Create a record from something your product observed, in whichever app that customer built for it.

Read records back so your product can act on a request or an approval somebody raised in Wavity instead of chasing a person.

Map every tenant's own forms and fields as configuration, since a customer adding a field should never need a release from you.

For your AI agents

Governed, audited access for the agents you build, through the MCP server.

An agent answers a question by reading the records in the one app a customer nominated.

An agent updates a record it has been permitted to touch, and the app and record it changed are logged.

An agent checks which fields an app genuinely has before it assumes one exists.

Example prompt

Pull the open requests from this app and tell me which have been waiting longest for an approval.

Set up Wavity in 4 steps

  1. 01Enable the Wavity connector in your fastn dashboard.
  2. 02Have each customer authorise their own Wavity account so their apps stay theirs.
  3. 03List the apps and fields in scope, map them to your own model, then enable the record actions you need.
  4. 04Call it from your product and expose the same connection to your agents through the MCP gateway.

Why teams use the Wavity integration

What you get by embedding it with fastn instead of building it yourself.

  • Ship a Wavity integration without building it. Your customers connect their own Wavity account inside your product and work their records, datasets and fields there, with no per-customer code on your side.
  • Handle the part that actually costs time: schemas differ per customer and change without notice, and volumes can be large. fastn owns the auth, token refresh, rate limits, pagination and breaking-change fixes, so a Wavity update is not your on-call problem.
  • One integration serves your product and your agents. The same governed Wavity connection powers in-product features and gives AI agents scoped, audited access, so you read and write your customers' data where it already lives without wiring it twice.

Wavity integration FAQ

How do I add a Wavity integration to my product?

Enable the Wavity connector in your fastn dashboard, then let each customer authenticate their own Wavity account. fastn handles the OAuth flow, token storage and refresh per tenant, so there is no Wavity client code in your app and no per-customer branch in your codebase. Setup is 4 steps.

Do my customers each connect their own Wavity account?

Yes. Every connection is scoped to the individual customer, so each authorises their own Wavity account and only ever sees their own records, datasets and fields. That per-tenant isolation is the point of an embedded integration: you support the long tail of customer setups without maintaining an integration per customer.

Can AI agents use this Wavity integration?

Yes. The same connection is exposed to your agents through the fastn MCP gateway, with permissions scoped per tenant and every call audited. An agent answers a question by reading the records in the one app a customer nominated.

Who maintains the Wavity integration?

fastn does. When Wavity changes an endpoint, deprecates a field or alters its auth, the fix lands in the connector rather than in your backlog, and your customers' connections keep working.

Does the Wavity integration adapt when a customer's schema changes?

Schema and field mapping is configuration per customer, so a change on their side is a mapping update rather than a code change and a release on yours.

How are large Wavity reads handled?

Pagination and throttling are handled for you, and initial backfills are rate-limited so a large import does not exhaust a customer's API allowance.

What can I build with the Wavity integration?

A common starting point: give every customer a way to connect the Wavity account they already run, so your product works against the apps living inside it. Teams also use it for the other use cases listed above, and expose it to agents for governed reads and writes.

How much does the Wavity integration cost?

It is included. Pricing is based on connected accounts, not on how many connectors you enable, so adding Wavity does not change your per-connector cost. You can start free with 3 connected accounts.
